Quick summary: canceling a subscription prevents future renewals, but refunds are reviewed separately. Discretionary refunds are limited mainly to first purchases and annual renewals requested within 14 days, Paddle is the primary refund channel, mandatory consumer rights still apply, and a refunded page may lose paid access immediately.
1. What this policy covers
Just Link is a link-in-bio SaaS. Paid plans are sold on a per-page subscription basis, which means each page you upgrade has its own monthly or annual subscription and can be managed independently.
Payments for paid plans are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record / authorised reseller for checkout transactions. This page explains how refund requests are handled for Just Link subscriptions and supplements the buyer-facing terms published by Paddle, including the Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy.
If applicable law, mandatory consumer rights, or Paddle’s buyer-facing policies give you stronger protection than this page, the higher standard applies. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable legal right.
2. Canceling a subscription
Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel a page subscription at any time from the billing area of your dashboard, through the Paddle subscription-management link included in your transaction emails, or through Paddle’s buyer support flow.
When you cancel, the cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. That means the page usually keeps its paid access until the renewal date, and you will not be charged again after that period ends.
Because billing is per page, canceling one subscription does not cancel any other page subscription on your account.
Important: canceling a subscription stops future renewals, but it does not automatically create a right to a refund for the current billing period. Refunds are handled under the rules below.
3. When a refund may be available
Refund situations on Just Link generally fall into two groups: non-discretionary refund scenarios (where a refund should be issued because law or a billing mistake requires it) and discretionary refund scenarios (where we may choose to grant a refund as a matter of commercial policy).
• Non-discretionary / billing-error scenarios: where a refund is required by applicable law or a mandatory consumer-protection rule, or where there is a duplicate payment, an incorrect amount charged, a wrong plan charged because of a system issue, or a charge taken after a confirmed cancellation;
• Discretionary refund scenarios we may approve: a first paid purchase requested within 14 days of the transaction date, or an annual renewal requested within 14 days of the renewal charge.
Discretionary refunds are reviewed case by case and are not guaranteed. Review may consider factors such as the time since the charge, whether the request relates to a first purchase or an annual renewal, whether the plan has already been materially used, and whether there is evidence of abuse, fraud, or policy evasion.
Monthly renewals are not eligible for discretionary refunds unless a billing error occurred or applicable law requires a refund.
4. Mandatory consumer rights still apply
Your local consumer laws may give you unconditional withdrawal or cancellation rights for digital services, and those rights override any stricter default rule.
As of the last-updated date above, Paddle’s public refund policy includes examples such as:
• EU / EEA / Switzerland / UK: a 14-day statutory withdrawal right for certain digital content and service contracts, including the first payment on a subscription, and in the UK also certain annual auto-renewals;
• Turkey / Israel: a 14-day withdrawal right in qualifying cases;
• Brazil / South Korea / China / Canada: a 7-day unconditional cancellation right in qualifying cases;
• Singapore: a 5-day unconditional cancellation right in qualifying cases.
Some withdrawal rights for digital services may be limited once access starts and you expressly agree to immediate performance, where local law allows that. If you believe a statutory right applies to your purchase, mention this in your refund request so we can review it quickly.
5. Situations that are not normally refundable
Unless required by law or expressly approved as an exception, the following situations are not normally eligible for a refund:
• unused time remaining in the current billing period after you cancel;
• forgetting to cancel before a renewal date;
• monthly renewal charges, except where there is a billing error or a mandatory legal right applies;
• changing your mind after materially using the paid plan or its features;
• requests made outside the applicable statutory or discretionary review window;
• general technical complaints where support has not yet had a fair chance to diagnose or resolve the issue, unless applicable law provides a non-waivable remedy;
• issues caused primarily by unsupported third-party tools, browser extensions, custom code, or conditions on your side when the core Service is functioning substantially as described;
• accounts suspended or restricted for fraud, abuse, chargeback manipulation, or violations of our Terms of Service.
We do not offer a separate voluntary refund promise for technical issues alone. Our default approach is to investigate and attempt to resolve technical problems first. This list does not override any right you may have under mandatory law.
6. How to request a refund
Because Paddle acts as merchant of record for paid plans, the primary refund channel should be Paddle. In most cases, you should request a refund using one of these Paddle-managed routes:
• the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” links in your purchase email;
• the billing and receipt flow made available by Paddle; or
• Paddle’s buyer support portal at paddle.net.
If you cannot resolve the matter through Paddle, you may also contact [email protected] as a fallback with as much detail as possible, including:
• the email address used for the purchase;
• the page slug connected to the subscription, if known;
• your Paddle receipt, invoice, or transaction reference;
• the date of the charge;
• a short explanation of why you are requesting the refund; and
• screenshots or steps to reproduce, if the request relates to a technical issue.
Paddle transaction records are used to verify purchase timing and eligibility, but they do not override your statutory rights.
7. What happens after approval
If a refund is approved, Paddle will generally send the money back to the original payment method where possible. Paddle’s public policy says eligible refunds are typically processed within 14 days of approval, although your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the funds.
If a refund is approved for a paid page on Just Link, access to the affected paid features may end immediately and that page may be downgraded to the Free plan. Other paid pages on your account are unaffected unless they are canceled or refunded separately.
Depending on the circumstances, an approved refund may be full or partial.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact us or Paddle before opening a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. In many cases, a direct billing review is faster and easier to resolve than a formal dispute.
If you start a chargeback or payment reversal, access to the affected page or subscription may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed. Evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or manipulative chargeback behavior may lead to denial of discretionary refunds and may result in account restrictions where permitted by law.
This section does not limit any lawful right you have to dispute a charge under applicable payment-network or consumer-protection rules.
9. Updates and contact
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect product, billing, legal, or operational changes. The version in effect at the time of your transaction, together with any mandatory rights that apply to you, will govern that request.
If you have questions before buying, need help with a billing issue, or want to request a refund review, contact [email protected].
